Relevant Experience

I am a native San Diegan who has practiced law in San Diego since 1986. My practice includes dissolution, custody/visitation, child and spousal support matters, Collaborative Divorce* as well as the negotiating and drafting of Premarital and Postnuptial Agreements. I have extensive experience in drafting Marital Settlement Agreements, have made numerous court appearances, and have trial experience in this area.

I have also sat as a seminar panel member for the Continuing Education of the Bar-California and for the San Diego County Certified Family Law Specialists. Having all this prior experience in the area of family law litigation, Collaborative Divorce* is a welcome change, one which I believe is well worth pursuing. It is the most civilized manner in which to pursue a dissolution and one in which the parties have a fighting chance to learn to deal with one another, even after their Judgment has been entered.
